Ivil is the Blue demon, no one know who is his mother but some demon says he is the son of a mermaid and Baal.

I'm not the most talented guy out there, but i'm forced to appreciate good art on sight. This is amazing. This is proof that by creating contrast you can achieve impact on your art. The brown coat and his blue skin tone are the main characters on this play, complementing each other. And shades and lights play their part by reinforcing that contrast I talked about. Facial anatomy look great to me, and on the hair, as you say, looks like Cloud's even if it was without reference, but still, looks great too. You sir, are someone to admire. Congrats!

he reminds me a bit of Zelgadis Greywoods (from the anime Slayers)

it's a cool series, but pretty old... it's about a young sorceress, Lina Inverse, who -together with her friends- gets in all sorts of adventures. Zelgadis Greywoods is one of her friends.
